PARTICIPATION POLICY

  • The Sailing Fun SHPK makes every effort to perform the scheduled excursions punctually and diligently. The company’s vessels meet all safety standards prescribed by Law for these specific tours.
  • Passengers are covered by third party liability insurance. A sufficient number of life jackets for adults as well as a first aid kit are made available for every boat trip.
  • Underage passengers should be accompanied by at least one adult, who will be responsible for their safety and supervision.
  • Pregnant women should inform the crew or staff about their pregnancy, so as to enjoy relevant treatment.
  • Passengers are responsible for keeping their personal belongings and money they may carry safe. The owner company bears no responsibility for the potential loss of property.
  • By entering the boat passengers agree to listen to the crew (especially captain) present on board and follow their guidance.
  • You are strongly advised to arrange your own insurance at the time of booking to cover against personal accident, cancellation, medical and repatriation etc.
  • To confirm the reservation customers are required to pay the full ticket price.

CANCELLATION POLICY

  • In case of cancellation by the passenger the ticket fee is not refunded.

ITINERARY

The itinerary, as provided to you, may be affected by weather conditions. Whilst we try our utmost to ensure the itinerary is followed as closely as possible, Sailing Fun SHPK cannot be held liable for deviations in the itinerary due to circumstances out of our control.

  • In case of cancellation by the passenger the ticket fee is not refunded.

YOUR BEHAVIOUR/RESPONSIBILITIES

If, in our reasonable opinion or the reasonable opinion of the provider of any part of the services to which your booking relates, while on holiday your behaviour poses a danger to you or those around you, causes or is likely to cause damage to people or property, breaches any local law, or causes or is likely to cause a public nuisance, Sailing Fun SHPK will have the right to cancel your booking without paying you any refund. This means (among other things) that your skipper could refuse to continue to work and that you could be made to leave a yacht you have booked at any time during your booking.

  • The nature of some of the activities you may choose to participate in during your holiday may involve a degree of personal risk. You accept these risks and accept that you are responsible for your own actions.
  • Sailing Fun SHPK acknowledges that guests may wish to consume alcohol. You must, however, do so responsibly and Sailing Fun SHPK accepts no liability to you for any injury, loss or damage you suffer as a result of your judgment being impaired wholly or partly by alcohol or drugs.
  • Sailing Fun SHPK reserves the right to not take guests on board who are under the influence of alcohol or drugs based on the skipper's decision. In that case the ticket price will not be refunded.
  • Sailing Fun SHPK operates a zero tolerance drug policy. If you are found in possession of illegal substances, Sailing Fun SHPK reserves the right to cancel your booking without paying you a refund. This means (among other things) that you could be made to leave the yacht you have booked at any time during your booking. Sailing Fun SHPK reserves the right to inform the relevant law enforcement authorities as we see fit.
  • You accept that the skipper is in charge of the yacht and the guests must follow his orders. The skipper will make decisions on behalf of the boat based on safety, the general consensus of the crew and local knowledge/experience of conditions and circumstances. Sailing Fun SHPK will not be liable for any itinerary changes made by the skipper in the interests of safety and guest experience.
  • Boating is by its nature an unpredictable sport and therefore inherently involves an element of risk. By taking part in the Event, you agree and acknowledge that:
  • You are aware of the inherent element of risk involved in the sport and you accept responsibility exposing yourself to such inherent risk whilst taking part in your course/trip/event;
  • You will comply at all times with the instructions of the Instructor/Skipper particularly with regard to handling of boats, wearing of life jackets aids and the wearing of suitable clothing for the conditions;
  • You will comply at all times with the instructions of the Instructor/Skipper particularly with regard to handling of boats, wearing of life jackets aids and the wearing of suitable clothing for the conditions;
  • You accept responsibility for any injury, damage or loss to the extent caused by your own negligence;
  • You are aware of the inherent risk of exposure to any contagious disease that other participants in the course/trip/event may be carrying and you accept responsibility for exposing yourself to such inherent risk whilst taking part in the course/trip/event;
